Ray Crawford headed down to Dallas for the East-West All-Star baseball game

Cogratulations are in order for Ray Crawford Jr.(Dudley HS 2010) on his invite down to Dallas, Texas for the big East-West All-Star baseball game….

Here’s the official word as it came down from the officials in Dallas…..

Ray Crawford
Greensboro, North Carolina

Dear Ray,
On the recommendation of Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau, a MJBL Commissioner or your head coach, we are extending an invitation for you to participate in the 2nd Annual MJBL East/West All Star Game.

After staging the initial MJBL East/West All Star Game on the campus of the University of Maryland in 2009, this year’s event is being hosted by Lancaster High School and Cedar Valley College in Lancaster, Texas on June 19th and 20th. Players from across the country and Puerto Rico will participate. Last year’s event was an exciting and well-played contest that saw a no-hitter thrown by the East squad. Texas’ Kevin Alexander of Denton Ryan received the MVP award after driving in the winning run that keyed the East squad to a 1-0 defeat of the game West team.

For 2010, we have added the Pro Tryout conducted by Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau. The Pro Tryout will commence at 9 a.m. at Cedar Valley College. Later in the day at 2 p.m., a doubleheader will take place between the East and the West and game will conclude with a Sunday contest starting at 1 p.m.

Ray, we look forward to your involvement in this year’s MJBL East/West All Star Game at Dallas.

Sincerely,
R. Lamar Brooks, Texas MJBL Commissioner
