Quayson Williams, the Eastern Guilford graduate, returns home to Greensboro tonight to face the UNCG Spartans. Should be a big night for the freshmen guard for the Citadel Bulldogs.
It’s his Homecoming and we welcome Quayson Williams back to Greensboro….His last game in Greensboro was during the East-West All-Stars game back in July and now he is back here in the Coliseum tonight vs. the Spartans from UNCG…
Quayson hit a wild sideline shot last year for the Eastern Guilford Wildcats at Northern Guilford and that was one of the memorable shots that we have seen during our time at GreensboroSports.com…He jumped toward the sideline going out-of-bounds on the right side of the court to save the ball and keep in play/in-bounds for Eastern Guilford and in doing so he flung the ball in the direction of the basket(EG’s basket) and the ball went in….One of those buckets that you will never forget…
Quayson was also with us on our Basketball in Focus Show from Shane’s Rib Shack at least two times while he was at Eastern Guilford and just a good young man who has come a long way and now he is back home tonight to face UNCG….
Quay can play and his efforts will be on display tonight at the Greensboro Coliseum with game time set for 7pm….Southern Conference warfare with The Citadel Bulldogs and Quayson Williams vs. the UNCG Spartans….
