  1. You can break down the playoff pairings all you like, but there isn’t a Northern Guilford this year. There are no Guilford County baseball or softball teams with even a remote chance of getting to the NCHSAA finals this year. Wesleyan in NCISAAA baseball is the only title contender in the county.

On the inside looking out, it looks like Southeast Guilford and Southwest Guilford have the best chance to do some damage on the baseball side this year and they could meet by the Third Round…Crest is going to be tough to beat coming out of the 3-A’s…Crest met Northern Guilford for the 3-A Title last year and they/Crest have a lot of kids returning…

    On the softball side, it looks like the best shot for going deep, is Southwest Guilford….

  3. SEG has good pitching.They have to be better at the plate against good pitching.
