West assistant coach is entering his 11th season at High Point Central High where he has compiled a career record of 66-51 in 10 seasons and his team have won 1 conference title and made 9 state playoff appearances…named Ray Correll Coach of the Year…also serves as track and field coach at High Point Central where his teams won the 2017 4A indoor track championship…previously served as an assistant coach at High Point Central High, including on the 1999 state championship team…previous coached track at TW Andrews High and currently coaches track at High Point Central where his teams have been state runners-up and regional runners-up and regional champions over the years…1984 graduate of Hart County High (GA) where he competed in football (named All-Region), track, and basketball and was named MVP in track and football and was named Male Athlete of the Year in 1984…1989 graduate of High Point University…says “I consider it to be a great honor to be able to coach some of NC’s best players.
