RICHMOND, Va. – With the conclusion of regular-season play on Saturday, the pairings for the 2017 CAA Baseball Tournament have been set. The Elon University baseball team will be seeded sixth in the league showcase that gets underway on Wednesday, May 24, at Brooks Field in Wilmington, N.C.
The Phoenix will take on third-seeded William & Mary on Wednesday at 3 p.m. With a win, Elon would advance to take on second-seeded UNCW on Thursday at 3 p.m. If the Phoenix falls in its opener, Elon will play again at 7 p.m. on Wednesday against the loser of the 11 a.m. game between fourth-seeded Delaware and fifth-seeded College of Charleston.
Northeastern earned the tournament’s top seed.
All-session tickets are $40 for adults and $30 for youth (ages 18 and under). Single-day passes are $20 for adults and $10 for youth. Students from participating CAA institutions are admitted free with a valid student ID. Tickets are available for purchase online at UNCWSports.com.
