High Point Thomasville HiToms Sign Post 87 Alumni
High Point/Thomasville, NC- The High Point – Thomasville HiToms announced today the signing of two former, Post 87 HiTom standouts.
USC Lancaster first baseman and North Carolina State signee Evan Edwards and Spartanburg Methodist outfielder Kip Brandenburg will join the Tommies for the 2017 season following stellar spring campaigns.
Evan Edwards(Southern Guilford High School) was named Player of the Year in NJCAA Region X while also collecting first team all-conference honors. The left-handed hitting Southern Guilford alum will join his former Post 87 HiTom teammate Kip Brandenburg(Southern Guilford High School) who also garnered first team Region X all-conference status.
Opening day at Historic Finch Field is May 27th against the Kernersville Bulldogs at 6pm.
