SWG(17-3/7-1)…EF(16-5/5-3)….We had a lot of the SWG stats here on the site the other day, and the Cowboys pretty much lived up to those stats and more tonight, representing Guilford County well…Tommy Zente with 3 hits and 4 RBI for SWG…Jacob Edwards goes 2 1/3 Innings and had five K’s for SWG/Luke Kimrey with 5 K’s for East….Brendan Emery with 3 hits for East Forsyth and Isaiah Hairston walked twice for SWG….Isaiah Hairston with 4, Tommy Zente with 3 and Mason Chu with 2 Quality at Bats for SWG…11 First Pitch strikes for Luke Kimrey from East and he went 5 Innings, while Sean McIntosh had 6 First Pitch strikes and Kyle Blendinger had 5 for SWG…Blendinger with 4 K’s for SWG…

Southern Alamance vs Smith was 3 innings. NCHSAA softball “slaughter” rule is 15 after 3 innings, 10 after 5 innings.
SE won Thurs.,Fri,Sat, Tues, 2 games on Thurs,, and win on Friday.

The box score, which we have now added, is a little bit deceiving on the Southern Alamance-Smith softball game…
They did go three Innings, but SA did not have to bat in the bottom of the third, since they were the Home team and in reality, the game went 2 1/2 Innings and that is a quick one….Three official innings in that one…
Was still very interesting on the week that Southeast Guilford had with those 7 wins in the nine days and as for that Doubleheader on Thursday, with wins over Smith and Davie County, the Smith game was set for 4:30 at Smith, and then you have to finish up at Smith and get back down to SEG in time to take on the Davie County War Eagles at 7pm….
If you get it done in 5 at Smith, which I think SEG did, that should still give you enough time to get back home in time for the second game of the DH..
And since Smith coach Joey Gladson is a SEG Falcon-grad, maybe he had his team(Smith) play SEG at SEG…
This does now prove that SEG is still a Legion baseball program team in the Summer, but with what they did on Thursday if the “at Smith” and then “back down to SEG” was in effect, SEG is a true “Travel Ball” team during the season….
That would take some traveling to pull that off, back on Thursday…
SEG did get it done early at Smith, getting the 10-0 win in 5 Innings..
McMichael had to be thinking that they could beat Northern on Friday night, in order to pull that upset off, but other than McMichael, who else would have thought that the Phoenix would get that done, and they won…
Good games on Friday night and big week due up next week with the last week of the regular season for the HS baseball and softball teams…
Did some of our game not get some steady or heavy rain on Friday night???? I thought a few might get washed out, because it rained like a Son of Gun, for about 45 minutes downtown at the Greensboro Grasshoppers game…
Heard the Page-Dudley game was called after 4 1/2 due to rain….
I have seen Southeast winning all of those games and I think they are getting ready to move up and be #1.
Southeast Guilford #1 in Guilford County.
It really is a toss up between NG,HPW, SW and SE. You could put those in any order and I dont think anyone would disagree.

Spoke to some Davie and ND parents and they think Ledford is #1 around.
This Friday’s matchup between Southeast Guilford and Northern will be one of the better games of the season does anyone know if one of the Big Three took the loss for Northern this past Friday night.
