LEAGUE RULES
ELIGIBILITY: Any enrolled student in the 9th-11th is eligible to participate in appropriate divisions. All
student athletes need to check with their coach, league and state sport governing body to insure that high
school and or college eligibility is not jeopardized by participating in any leagues or tournaments.
DIVISIONS: This league is open to all athletes completing the 9th-11th grades, with 1 year of eligibility left.
TEAMS: Teams consist of 15-20 players together with 1-3 adult coaches.
TIME: All games will be 30 minutes in length with a running clock. There will be a 25 second clock in
effect. In case of injury the clock will stop at the discretion of the Referee, if that occurs the player must
leave for at least one play.
FIELD: The playing field will be 40 yards in length, plus a 10 yard end zone.
POSSESSION OF THE BALL: All possessions start the 40-yard line. No matter where the defense stops the
offense, they take over at the 40-yard line.
PLAY: Each team will have 7 players on the field at all times.
a. Play begins when: The ball is snapped to the QB. A play in progress at the final whistle is
completed. The game cannot end on a defensive penalty, unless the offense declines it.
b. Play ends when: One had touch below the neck.
c. Substitution: Regular substitution rules apply.
d. No running plays allowed: Everyone is eligible to receive passes.
e. Passing: The QB has 4 seconds to release the ball or it is blown dead, returning to the LOS for the
next down. There is no rushing the QB or crossing the LOS, until after a pass is thrown.
f. Double Pass: Double passing is allowed, but there must be one forward pass across the LOS within 4
seconds.
g. Downs: Only one first down per series is possible, achieved when reaching the 20-yard line within 4
downs.
SCORING: 1. Touchdown = 6 points
2. 1 extra point by passing from the 10 yard line
3. 2 extra point by passing from the 15 yard line
4. Interception = 3 points, plus possession at the 40-yard line
5. Interception returned for Touchdown = 6 points
6. No fumbles, the ball is dead if it touches the ground
LEAGUE GUIDELINES
PENALTIES: This is a non-contact game and any flagrant contact is cause for immediate ejection. As
always, any unsportsmanlike conduct is also cause for ejection. The Referees decision is final on all plays,
there will be no tolerance for arguing, and only a coach may ask for a rule clarification. Coaches control
profanity. Coaches are expected to eliminate profanity on their team.
Offense:
a. Blocking or Holding = 10 yards from LOS, Loss of down
b. Illegal motion = 5 yards
c. Offensive Pass Interference = 10 yards from LOS, Loss of down
d. Delay of Game = Clock stops, 10 yards from LOS, Loss of down
Defense:
a. Tackling of Holding = 10 yards from LOS, replay previous down
b. Offsides = 5 yards from LOS, replay previous down
c. Pass Interference = 10 yards from LOS, replay previous down
d. Illegal rushing = 10 yards from LOS, replay previous down
e. Delay of Game = Clock stops, 10 yards from LOS
BLOOD RULES: If and when an official observes that player is bleeding, has an open wound, or has an
excessive amount of blood on his or her uniform, the player will be directed to leave the game. The injured
player is not to return until the bleeding has stopped, the open wound is covered, and excessively bloody
uniform is changed.
OVERTIME: A tiebreaker will occur, with a flip of a coin to determine possession. After a 2-minute break,
the teams will each have 4 plays to score from the 20-yard line, until the tie is broken. There is no
defensive scoring in overtime.

About the League
Our 7on7 Passing League is a fun competitive, non-contact way to play football. It is all passing, played on a
40-yard field plus end zone, and allows scoring both on the offense and defense. Passing is now the feature
offense, and thus defense, of most teams. Passing and catching take a great deal of practice to master.
Participating in a 7on7 league offers athletes an exceptional, competitive way to hone their skills. Played in
Greensboro NC at Proehlific Park. Proehlific’s mission is to inspire, cultivate and ignite the POWER within
each of us no matter our age using sport, exercise, play and spirituality as tools for life and to help others.

Proehlific Park may involve the risk of serious injury or death. I expressly agree that all
such activities and or the use of the facilities shall be undertaken at my own risk. I
represent that I am or my minor child is physically able to undertake all physical
activities provided at Proehlific Park. In consideration of above minor participant being
permitted to participate in any and all activities offered at and/or through Proehlific Park,
the undersigned parent(s) or guardian, on behalf of the parent, parent’s heirs, parent’s
personal representatives or assigns, does hereby and covenant not to sue and forever
acquit, release, waive, discharge from any liability for any and all claims, demands,
injuries, causes of actions, known or unknown, lawsuits, active, passive and/or gross
negligence and all other causes or actions, known or unknown, whatsoever arising out
of or connected with the use of any of the services or facilities provided at Proehlific
Park or by the entities and/or persons being released herein that the parent/ guardian
might have arising from injury or loss to said minor, whether due to the negligence of the
entities and/or persons being released herein or otherwise. Proehlific Sports, Inc.,
BAALEN, LLC, The POWER of Play Charitable Fund,Inc. and all of their officers,
directors, shareholders, employees, affiliates, independent contractors, coaches, and/or
volunteers shall not be liable for any such claims. Participant’s parent, participant’s legal
guardian, or I hereby consent and affirm the foregoing Liability Waiver on behalf or
participant, participant’s family and all other parties stated. By affirming and consenting
to the liability waiver of risk agreement, it is my intention that terms of the document by
and through my consent are as effective as if the participant were an adult rather than a
minor.
The undersigned further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Proehlific Sports, Inc.,
BAALEN, LLC, The POWER of Play Charitable Fund,Inc. and all of their officers,
directors, shareholders, employees, affiliates, independent contractors, coaches, and/or
volunteers from any and all claims, lawsuits, and/or causes of actions against such
released parties from and from any and all costs, damages, interest, payments, or
expense of any nature whatsoever they may incur or be compelled to pay as a result of
any such claim, lawsuit, and/or cause of action.
The undersigned hereby irrevocably consents to and authorizes the use by Proehlific
Sports, Inc. and The POWER of Play Charitable Fund,Inc., their officers, directors,

shareholders, agents and employees of the undersigned’s image, voice and/or likeness
as follows: Proehlific Sports, Inc. and The POWER of Play Charitable Fund,Inc., shall
have the right to photograph, publish, re-publish, adapt, exhibit, perform, reproduce,
edit, modify, make derivative works, distribute, display or otherwise use or reuse the
undersigned’s image, voice and/or likeness in connection with any product or service in
any and all markets, media or technology now known or hereafter developed. Proehlific
Sports, Inc. and The POWER of Play Charitable Fund,Inc. may exercise any of these
rights themselves or through any successors, transferees, affiliates, licensees,
distributors or other parties, whether commercial or noncommercial. The undersigned
acknowledges receipt of good and valuable consideration in exchange for this Release,
which may simply be the opportunity to represent Proehlific Sports, Inc. and/or The
POWER of Play Charitable Fund,Inc., in its promotional and advertising materials as
described above.
I have read the preceding information and my questions have been answered. I know,
understand, and appreciate the risks associated with playing sports and physical
activity, and I am voluntarily participating in the activities provided at Proehlific Park. In
