That’s the story from NewBridge Bank Park for a Wednesday and it wasn’t even Wednesday night yet and the game got rained out and became what they called back in the day, a “WashOut” or a ‘wash’….Game is not completely lost, the plan is to make it up at a later date and on a date when the Delmarva Shorebirds and Ryan Minor are back in town; their return dates are set for August 30-September 1 and those games will be the ones that will close out the Greensboro Grasshoppers 2016 regular season…
Delmarva will still be in town on Thursday, but the game plan is to stick with the single game on Thursday/tomorrow and go with the regular ‘Thirsty Thursday’ theme for Greensboro Grasshoppers Baseball at NewBridge Bank Park….(Game Time/First Pitch is set for 7pm)
Hoppers vs. the ‘Birds on Thursday and then Delmarva back in town on Aug. 30-Sept. 1……..
