WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – With the Elon University baseball team holding a 5-3 lead over Wake Forest in the top of the fourth inning, storms moved in to the Winston-Salem, N.C., area, forcing the game to be cancelled. The game will not be resumed and all stats do not count.
Elon will be back in action this weekend with a three-game CAA series at James Madison. That set is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 29, at 6 p.m. in Harrisonburg, Va.
