ELON, N.C. – The game time for Elon University softball’s midweek home contest versus Virginia Tech on Wednesday, April 27, has been adjusted to a 3 p.m. start at Hunt Softball Park.
The two programs were originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. opening pitch on Wednesday, but due to inclement weather scheduled to appear later in the evening, the game has been moved up to begin earlier that afternoon at 3 p.m.
Wednesday will be Elon’s first game back in the home confines of Hunt Softball Park after coming off a seven-game road swing. The Phoenix will close out its home schedule later this weekend with a Colonial Athletic Association series versus No. 6 James Madison beginning with a twin bill on Saturday, April 30 at 1 p.m.
