Fiore, a 6-2, 190-pound attackman, scored 11 points on six goals and five assists in Guilford’s 2-0 week. He collected a season-high eight points on three goals and five assists in the Quakers’ 18-10 home win over Ferrum College April 6. Fiore had two man-up goals and scored on three of his four shots on goal. Three days later in Guilford’s 7-5 road win over league-rival Bridgewater College, Fiore again netted a season-best three goals. He scored the game’s final tally with remaining, which provided the visitors some insurance in their fifth win in seven games.

Fiore leads Guilford and stands sixth in the ODAC with 40 points this year on 20 goals and 20 assists. His 20 helpers rank second in the conference. The team captain has scored at least one point in 11 of the team’s 12 contests and has goals in 10 games. His 28 ground balls stand third on the team.

Fiore ranks fifth among Guilford’s career scoring leaders with 197 points in 49 games. He is three points shy of becoming the fifth member of Guilford’s 200-career points club and its first since 2004. His 92 career goals rank 10th on the Quakers’ all-time list and his 105 assists sit third.

Coach Tom Carmean’s Quakers host league-rivals Hampden-Sydney College Wednesday (4/9) at 4:30 p.m. and Randolph-Macon College Saturday (4/16) at 1:00 p.m.
