HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women’s basketball team looks to send senior Aariel Allen out with a victory on Tuesday night against Campbell at 7 p.m. in the Millis Center.

The Panthers (11-16, 10-8) are fighting to claim a bye in next week’s Big South Championship. Meanwhile, the Camels (11-16, 6-12) are focused on building momentum for their tournament run.
Last Time Out
Freshman Emma Bockrath scored 10 of her 26 points in the decisive fourth quarter of HPU’s 78-72 victory over Charleston Southern on Saturday. The Panthers’ active defense forced 23 turnovers and turned those miscues into 34 points on the other end to help earn the win.
Junior Kaylah Keys added 18 points and four steals while sophomore Kat Harris chipped in with 14 points and three assists on the day. The Purple & White continued their solid shooting from beyond the arc hitting nine of their 17 attempts (53 percent). Likewise, the team took advantage of their 27 trips to the charity stripe making 21 free throws to seal the victory.
Tournament Seeding
The Panthers are a game behind Radford for the No. 5 seed in the Big South Championship with two games left to play, but hold the season tiebreaker with the Highlanders. The top five teams in the conference earn a bye through the first round. HPU has Campbell and UNC Asheville left on the schedule while Radford has Presbyterian and Campbell remaining on its schedule.
Keying the Offense
Junior Kaylah Keys is leading the league in scoring this season (15.2 ppg) and is the active leader with 1,431 career points. Keys has scored 20 or more points in four of the last seven games and is averaging 19.3 points, 2.6 assists and is 22-40 (.550) from beyond the arc in that stretch.
Youth Movement
• HPU’s seven freshmen are logging 63 percent of the team’s minutes and are scoring 56 percent of HPU points and grabbing 57 percent of the squad’s steals this season.
• Emma Bockrath (three times), Haleigh Hatfield (two times) and Lindsey Edwards (one time) have combined for six Big South Freshman of the Year awards.
Bockrath’s Case
Freshman Emma Bockrath has been stuffing the stat sheet on a nightly basis this season. The wing is second among league freshman in scoring (10.0/g) and first in steals (1.4/g) and assists (2.6/g) and fifth in rebounding (4.3/g).
Scouting the Camels
• The Camels snapped a two-game losing streak with a surprising 64-56 upset at UNC Asheville on Saturday behind 23 points from sophomore Summer Price.
• Junior Amada Coffer is the key to the Camels’ offense. The six-foot-two-inch forward leads the team in scoring (11.3/game) and rebounding (5.5/game). She is a threat to step outside though hitting 17-49 (35 percent) of her three-point ties.
• Senior RaeChaun Edwards paces the Big South with 5.3 assists per game and is second with 2.6 steals per contest.
• Price had a great month of February averaging 18.2 points per game over the final five contests. She has upped her season average to 10.0 points per game.

HPU holds a 26-11 lead in the series and is 5-3 in DeUnna Hendrix’s tenure.
Last Time They Met
Clinging to a one-point lead at halftime, the Panthers stormed out of the break winning the third quarter 23-10 behind 12 points from Lindsey Edwards. HPU went on to win 69-55 as the freshman class tallied 58 of the squad’s 69 points.
