Game Report: Northwest Guilford vs Vance Boys Basketball

GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and the Vance Cougars played an entertaining high school basketball game in the first round of the State 4A playoffs. The Vikings controlled the game throughout but every time they tried to extend their lead to double digits, Vance would mount a comeback to keep the lead in shouting distance. The Vikings came out in the final quarter and firmly established their lead in order to finish off an 81-75 victory despite a valiant effort.

–Jaylen Gore led Northwest with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Tre Turner finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds while Jalen Spicer had 19 points and 7 assists. Reggie Davis contributed 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Thomas Hennigan was huge down the stretch with 6 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.

–Cameron Hamilton and Marcus Neal scored 24 and 23 points respectively for the Cougars while Delvin Teah added 12 points.
