The Southeast Guilford Falcons are in First Place in the 4-A Classification after two complete days of the 20016 NCHSAA Wrestling Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum…

One of the biggest surprises on Friday night was in the 4-A’s 106 pound weight class where Carson Smith, a freshman from SEG, defeated a senior and real favorite to win it all, Dylan Cook(Ragsdale HS)…Cook was (51-2) and Smith (47-8) coming into this semifinal match…Carson Smith will go for the State Championship in the 106 pound class on Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum…

Southeast has four wrestlers going for 4-A State Titles on Saturday with David Crumby at 126, Garrett Church at 182 and Evan Surgeon at 220….And don’t forget the little fellow, Carson Smith at 105…

Southeast was in First Place after Friday’s Team Results were posted with SEG at 104.5 points and Jack Britt, of Fayetteville, in second place with 76 points….
