The futility continues in the playoffs on Sunday:Crazy NFL weekend as Vikings send Seattle Seahawks to Charlotte

All four road teams won this weekend in the NFL playoffs and for Sunday the futility was never more evident in the Minnesota Vikings’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks…

Vikings’ kicker Blair Walsh missed a chip-shot 27-yard field goal with 22 seconds left, that would have given the win to Minnesota, but in the end, Seattle was presented with a first-class ticket to Charlotte, where Seattle will face the Panthers, in Found Two of the NFC playoffs….

The Seahawks win Sunday’s game at Minnesota and the weather was brutally cold, but Minnesota wins the football game if Blair Walsh connects on the kick the Vikings’ coach Mike Zimmer said Walsh has to make…

“It’s kick that Walsh has to make”, said Zimmer and Walsh said he was sorry and he broke down in tears in the post-game press conference….No matter how you cut it, or kick it, Walsh has to make that kick…

The game was in Walsh’s hands and it all rested on his right foot and he hooked it left and missed that 27-yard kick and he missed it by a mile….It wasn’t even close and it didn’t help that the holder for the Vikings had the football laces turned toward the kicker when Walsh stepped forward and attempted his potential game-winning kick…

You see those laces starring at you and the next thing you know, the Seattle Seahawks are headed to Charlotte to battle the Carolina Panthers….

Walsh hits/makes the kick and the Vikings win the the game 12-10…..Walsh missed the kick and the Minnesota Vikings lose the game 10-9…

***On a “foot-note”, Walsh was 3-3 on his field goals before he missed the game-winner….***
