  1. Am I thinking of the wrong player? I thought Bamba was heavily considered an NC State recruit. Is this the same player? If yes, I am surprised it’s Coastal over State.

  2. I thought I had the wrong guy this morning when I posted this, but it does say Bam to Coastal and the News and Record had the same thing…

    Amidou Bamba, basketball, Coastal Carolina;

    Had heard a lot of talk about Bam, especially with Harry leaving the area and I too thought Bam was due for the ACC….

  3. You guys have the wrong player. You’re thinking of Edrice “Bam” Adebayo, who is new to HP Christian this year. He’s an AAU teammate of Dennis Smith Jr. and is considered a strong N.C. State lean. Adebayo is rated No. 2 in the country at power forward behind Harry Giles.

    Amidou Bamba is a Canadian kid who came to HP Christian last year and isn’t in the same class as Adebayo.

  4. Good call, I don’t know either one of those guys that well, but more power to them, I guess….

    Wish all of the Cougars the best this year, but one question I still have is, “How many uniforms do they have over there and the cry across the hardwood must remain, There is only one ball”…..

    On the names, maybe one young man is ‘Bam’ and the other is “Bam Bam”…..

  5. Correct” Bam ” and Bamba are 2 different kids. Bamba as said above was an exchange student from Canada last year. Bam who was from Fayetteville, NC.,and transferred in this fall. Rumor has it that his visit to Kentucky went really good! Calapari and Coach K both have been over to school this fall and watched him workout. There is only 1 basketball and 32 minutes in a game, unless teams hold the ball expect to see a lot of scores in the 90’s +.
