“BATTLE FOR THE BELTS COMING TO THE GREENSBORO COLISEUM SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER”

Over 2,200 Wrestlers To Compete in the Super 32 Wrestling Challenge This Weekend:

Over 2,200 wrestlers will converge on Greensboro this weekend for the 15th Annual Super 32 Challenge (November 1-2) at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center. The Super 32 Challenge is considered the #1 Folkstyle wrestling tournament in the country. There will be more national ranked wrestlers competing in this tournament than any other in the country. The demand to participate in this event is so high that the high school portion of the event sold out online in about 5 minutes and the middle school and elementary school divisions sold out in 2 days. The main question would be why is this event the premier individual wrestling tournament in the country? The main reason is the recruiting exposure for the athletes. Coaches from 20 of the top 25 NCAA Division I Wrestling programs will be in attendance along with many other college programs. The second draw is the Championship Belt presented to the winner much in the style of the old wrestling belts won by Rick Flair and Dusty Rhodes in the Greensboro Coliseum.
