We saw a number of the local names on TV on Saturday and we don’t often see much television, but here’s who we noticed….D.J. Reader(Grimsley HS) was playing big on the defensive line for the Clemson Tigers vs. Florida State on Saturday night….D.J. was moving well and playing tough on that line for the Tigers…Saw John Spain(Page HS) pick off a pass for Elon vs. Charlotte….Spain made the big play for the Phoenix….Kevin Walton(Grimsley) was on TV for Appalachian in the Mountaineers game with Southern Mississippi…Kevin was getting a little bit too aggressive on one play, but there he was on the American Sports Network….Also Ray Bridges(Southwest Guilford) score 3 TD’s for Greensboro College and that made the local sports highlights on TV last night…Many names and games on TV locally…
Maybe some of you saw more of our local players on TV Saturday, if so, dial them in here…Just saw David Amerson(Dudley HS/N.C. State) lay a hit for the Washington Redskins and Amerson’s hit forced one of the Philadelphia Eagles(McCoy) to leave the field…
