Ragsdale Men’s Golf Leaps to New Heights

Tigers Defeat Northwest Guilford for first time in Five Years

Congratulations to Coach Dan Turner and the Ragsdale Men’s Golf team on an outstanding performance yesterday. The Tigers regained second place in the Piedmont Triad 4A Conference with a season best effort shooting 144. Leading the Tigers and earning medalist honors with a 3 under par 33 was Sophomore David Song. Sophomore Bret Bartko, tied for 3rd and shot a solid even par 36, Junior Mike Hukill finished tied for 6th and shot a 1 over par 37, and Freshman William Stenmark finished out the counting scores with a solid 38 for a team total 144. The Ragsdale team finished first beating NW Guilford for the first time in 5 years by 1 shot. This puts the Tigers 9 shots ahead of SW Guilford and 10 shots ahead of High Point Central going into Monday’s 18 hole conference championship at the Tiger’s home course of Jamestown Park.
