From the Wide World of Sports through the 1972 Olympics to recent sporting events, Jim McKay was probably the MOST recognized anchor/reporter in television sports today. No hissy fits, no issues, no problems - he was definitely a cut above what we have on TV today.
He passed away from natural causes today in Maryland. Expect big reports and tributes in all sporting events this weekend.

Simply the best. McKay was a class act and as Don said, many of today’s TV big mouths could take a lesson from JM. He was a TV legend and he will be missed.
