The Carolina Phoenix and Carolina Queens faced off in Durham Stadium yesterday. The Phoenix won 21 to 12 and Woody Cavenaugh has the game recap.
With everything going on yesterday, you didn’t know about a Womens Football Game? No matter how hard we try to cover all the sports in the area, we are going miss some events. Those teams that don’t contact us or invite us to their events are missing a great opportunity. The Phoenix are calling Durham home, which kind of takes them outside of our coverage area; but they have players from the Greensboro area. So we’ll keep an eye on them.
