Amber Stapler Named Guilford Student-Athlete of the Week

Greensboro, N.C. — Guilford College junior Amber Stapler (Glen Burnie, Md./Glen Burnie (Anne Arundel)) received the school’s Student Athlete of the Week Award Wednesday. The honor covers competition from April 21-27 and is presented weekly by Guilford’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Tyler Biggs, Nick Taylor, Brad Horton, Tyler Haley, Brandon Marchisotto, Mitchell Matthews, Ryan White, John Grant, Caleb Shelton, Steven Conger. Johnny Dawkins, the former Duke standout and assistant coach, was named the new Stanford men’s basketball coach on Monday.
Dawkins was given a six-year deal to coach the Cardinal, which will be his first stint as a head coach.
