The River Mill girls basketball team defeated Eastern Guilford 65-37, in non-conference action.
The Lady Jaguars started strongly and gained a 19-9 advantage by the end of the 1st period. The second quarter was played evenly, as both squads played with tremendous determination.
Eastern Guilford delighted the home crowd by cutting the lead to six, early in the third stanza. The Wildcat run would stall however, as River Mill used a balanced attack to pull away.
