Kernodle Middle girls roll past Jamestown Middle
After a tighter than expected first quarter at Jamestown’s BEUATIFUL gym (that place is huge), the KMS Cougars blew it open in the 2nd with fast breaks and some nice outside shooting.
Both coaches let their benches play in the 4th quarter and final score was
something like 37-15 (not 100% sure that was the actual final).
Next up: Northern at home Thursday at 4:45pm. Northern can’t be taken lightly. They are well coached, have good ball handlers, and play a very stingy inside defense. The Nighthawks knocked off a talented Southeast team earlier in the season.
I don’t think SEMS has played Northern in basketball this year. The only game the girls have lost was to Northeast. NEMS and SEMS split the two meetings.
A great game coming up next Thursday 2/2 – the Kernodle vs. NW Guilford girls rematch at NW Guilford. Last week Kenodle posted a 4 point victory at home giving NW Guilford girls their first loss this year. In fact, it’s the only loss that either team has suffered this season.
Both teams are well coached and will provide another high quality MS girls game to those who will travel to NWMS to watch. THIS ONE SHOULD BE A LOUD ONE FROM START TO FINISH!! Get there early as the game at Kernodle was standing room only!!
