Guilford Relay Team Competes at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – Guilford College’s men’s 1,600-meter relay team placed 68th among 82 teams in the Quakers’ lone entry at the historic Penn Relays Friday. Guilford’s team comprised of Joshua Farrar (Greensboro, N.C./Northwest Guilford), Michael Mellinger, Sean White and Dylan Skinner (Hillsborough, N.C./Orange) turned in a time of 3:29.47 that placed seventh in its nine-team heat. Louisiana State University posted the day’s low time (3:07.22) and led the list of qualifiers for Saturday’s final.
Guilford’s next scheduled competition is the Duke University Twilight Meet May 8.
