Good start to the year for Alex Swim(NWG) at Elon University

Alex Swim(Northwest Guilford HS) has gotten off to a good start with the Phoenix of Elon University….After DH’ing and working as the part-time catcher last year for Elon, Swim is now the every day catcher for the Phoenix and the team is off to a good start at (5-2) overall and last Friday, Swim had a good outing for himself versus the Bulls of South Florida, down in Florida….

(2-4, 1 run, 1 RBI, 8 put outs from behind the plate) and as of last Friday his batting average was at .440, but after the weekend series in Tampa, he now sits at very respectable .387, after 7 games at the start of this season……
