Wilder goes wild in nets, but so does Hampden-Sydney: GC Pride falls 6-0

Greensboro, N.C. — Visiting Hampden-Sydney College defeated Greensboro College, 6-0, at the Smith High School Turf Fields on Thursday. Woody Wilder (Wytheville, VA/George Wythe) collected 8 saves for The Pride.
H-SC improved to 3-5-1 and GC is now 3-7-1.
The Tigers led in shots (19-10) and corner kicks (7-2). H-SC led 2-0 at halftime. Nick DeProspero had one goal and 2 assists for the visitors. Curran Blackwell and Chris Whiteside each scored and assisted once for Hampden-Sydney.
The Pride returns to action on Saturday when NC Wesleyan visits Pride Field.
