GBC Prepstars move to (2-0) at World Wood Bat Tournament

GBC PREPSTARS 18U – Gbc defeated South Florida Bandits 15-0 to move to 2-0 at the World Wood Bat Championship at East Cobb Georgia.
Zac Joyce (E. Forsyth) and Trevor Brackett (Maryville commit) combined on a 1
hitter. GBC again hit well pounding out 13 wood bat hits led by Casey Jones (Elon
Commit) with 2 hits, Sawyer Highfill (Grimsley) added two more including a triple,
Ben Schmucker (NW Guilford) had a single and a double. Tiger Miller (SE Guilford)
stayed hot with two backside doubles as well.
Thursday night at 7 pm GBC will face All American Prospects in another big pool game
at the East Cobb Complex. Andrew McNeil from Southern Lee will start on the mound
for GBC and Ray Crawford (UNCG Commit) is flying down to join the team on Thursday.
