Update on NSCU Catcher – Chris Schaeffer

Brian Hendrickson of the News & Record has an update on the condition of Wolfpack Catcher Chris Schaeffer, who was knocked out as he blocked homeplate in today’s ACC Mens Baseball Championship – sounds ok at this time.
Take a look at the pictures from the Raleigh News and Observer and tell me the kid did not lower his shoulder and throw an elbow.
Why did the News-Record headline have to read ” Fla State Knocks Out Pack in ACC Tourney?” They would have never tried to make light of it if a UNC catcher was knocked out by a runner trying to score.
