Former Page player named rookie of the week

Greensboro College’s Luqman Tijani (Greensboro, NC/Page High School) has been named the USA South’s Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week.
A freshman guard from Greensboro, North Carolina, Tijani scored 11 points, grabbed two rebounds, dished out two assists and collected one steal in a 72-65 loss to Mary Washington in The Pride’s only action of last week.
GC next plays at Emory on Thursday night.
