Bishop overcame a sluggish start and a second half rally by Southern Wake to take the win in Durham. After Wake took a 2 point lead midway through the fourth qtr Bishops Mike Banks drove the lane and dropped a teardrop shot over Southern Wakes 6’6 center Kitoko and converted the three point play to give the Villains the one point lead. Bishop never trailed after Banks score, as Toomey converted free throws down the stretch for the final margin.

Bishop faces the winner of Kestrel Heights/Raleigh Hawks game on Saturday at 430 pm at Mt Zion Academy for the Bull City championship.
