NCHSAA bracket busters 4-AA

Posted By on November 7, 2009

Page and Northwest Guilford are in with NWG on the road at Richmond County in Round One….Page could end up at Butler in Round Three…
There were a few adjustments, but not many….For NWG, Butler or Richmond County, pick you poison.

Last year #11 Northwest Guilford(6-5) travled to #6 Richmond County(7-3-1) and fell to the Raiders 30-0….

Butler got #1 seed in the west 4aa
that’s my pick to win it all

    Go Bulldogs

  2. Joe Barile says:

Butler will get the #1 seed in the final brackets..

The NCHSAA handbook says that “any non-conference game that is dropped for seeding purposes may still be used in breaking a tie” among teams with identical records. And that “we will first try to break the tie(s) by looking at head-to-head competition. If these schools played each other in a non-conference game, but one of them didn’t count that game for seeding purposes, the game will still be used to break the tie, with the team that lost getting the lower seed.”

NCHSAA spokesman Rick Strunk, contacted by the Observer about the ruling, said the association would look into it before releasing final pairings this evening.

  3. Joe says:

Please note that these are preliminary. Some changes have already been made to these preliminary brackets. Nothing is final yet but as of right now Butler is now 1, Richmond 2. West Forsyth is 8, and Lake Norman is 9.

  4. Joe says:

Hopewell is seeded lower than N. Meck. Hopewell beat N. Meck last night in a head to head. Hopefully it will be fixed in the final brackets.

  5. Joe Barile says:

  10. NWG says:

NWG @ Richmond Sr. – Brackets have changed

  11. NW @ Richmond says:

What if NWG could win this game. That would be one of the biggest upsets of all time.

  12. FRIDAY THE 13TH says:

That will never happen, NWG will be shut-out like last year. Two runs, One Pass, and Punt. NWG 0 Richmond 65. Game over, save your money, not worth the trip.
