Greensboro College falls to Duke in soccer exhibition

Durham, NC — Duke Univeristy defeated Greensboro College, 4-0, in an exhibition at Duke on Saturday. The Pride’s Mazi Heydary (Greensboro, N.C., Ragsdale)had four saves in the contest.

The Blue Devils collected 17 shots to 15 for GC. Dennis Geoffrey (Elon, NC/Western Alamance) had a team high three shots for The Pride.

Duke led 1-0 at the break. Ryan Finley scored once and dished two assists for the NCAA Division I Blue Devils.

The Pride opens the regular season at Roanoke on Wednesday night. Game time is 7 p.m.
