Over the past Decade: Wolfpack is the top college football team in the Tar Heel state

Posted By on July 14, 2009

It has been talked about and now it has been proven. J.P. Giglio of the News and Observer(Raleigh), shows us the real facts at CharlotteObserver.com, on which school really is the best in the state when it comes to College Footballl over the last decade as we head into the 2009 season.

If you are a Duke fan, you may want to go outside and shoot a few baskets or dig up your old Wallace Wade jacket you had buried in your backyard, because this may catch a few of you off-guard and the rest may get stopped when he goes off-tackle, but here it is and be sure to take it all in as the new gridiron campaigns get set to kick off next month.

From J.P. Giglio and to read it all Click Here after we give you a taste of what he has cooking here at our site…..

Which college football team will be the best in the state of North Carolina in 2009?

What a pointless article! Clearly App State is the best team in the state. I’m not saying that if you put the two head to head that app would win. 9 times out of 10 the wolfpack would win. What is the difference in attendance ? Where are the enrollment adjusted stats? Stats are for baseball. I would be much more proud to be a mountaineer fan than a wolfpack fan, and this coming from a wolfpack fan! gimme a break J.P.

App has enjoyed the most football success recently. However, I do have to give props to NC State since they would actually play us and they did beat us 23-10. I appreciate that. Also props to ECU for playing us this season. Chicken droppings UNC plays McNeese State instead of us the same weekend last season that we went to LSU. We could have switched opponents and played the Tarholes and rode a bus to so so and McNeese could have taking a bus trip across Louisiana to play LSU. Istead both schools in bad economic times flew. I blame UNC and their chicken droppings policy.

  3. Tarheel Fan says:

App Fan, know that when App State flew to LSU they flew back with a check large enough to cover their travel cost and then some. They don’t just take these types of games for the fun.

  4. App Fan says:

I know ASU made some $$$ playing LSU. We also made some $$$ playing Michigan and also won. I also rooted for Michigan after we beat them and they ended up9-4 and won the Champs Sports Bowl over Florida. Thankyou Michigan and LSU for playing us.
