All Triad 3A Conference Tourney games have been postponed until Thursday 5/7/09
Mid-Piedmont Conference tournament games postponed until Thursday at the same times……

With the storm warnings and the afternoon rains, you have to believe that all of the action set for today has been moved to Thursday.
Anyone know of any games at all today? MPC, Triad, Metro, Piedmont-Triad, North State all slated for Thursday games……

You would think that eveything that was scheduled for yesterday has now been moved to this evening. It rained very hard in our area Tuesday and on into the night and I doubt any baseball was played in our county.
Not the case down in Randolph County as they were able to complete the two games from Monday night involving Asheboro-ER and SWR-Randleman.
Here are the results and the action in the Mid-Piedmont 3-A Conference will continue, field conditions permitting today, at Southeast Guilford. Heavy thick green grass should drain well, but like at any ballfield, there will always be problems in the corners. Not sure if they able to get the tarp on the mound area Monday night, but it was raining Monday evening during and at the conclusion of the SEG-Trinity game and they do have a tarp for the Falcon mound.
