GBC in the Battle in the South Baseball Tourney This Weekend

Greensboro Batting Center 12U playing in the very competitive Battle in the South this weekend in Rockwood , TN.
Pool play begins tonight with GBC taking on N. Alabama Titans. Here is GBC pool:

- N. Alabama Titans (AL)
- South Oakland A’s (MI)
- West Chester Sluggers (OH)

Battle in the South
GBC11U is in Rocky Mount, NC this w/e for Triple Crown Border Wars tourney.
Battle in the South is rained out for GBC 12u.
GBC11u roll in Rocky Mt at the Border Wars tourney, where there are 28 teams from NC and Virginia. In the first game, the Virginia Vipers from Chesapeake, VA got waxed 15-o. Andrew Robinson pitched well and got the win. The 2nd game was against the Pitt County Pirates and they got waxed 16-0. Tyson Poe and Evan Edwards pitched well. Ceasar Trejo and Luke Gesell hit homers for GBC.
GBC should have the #1 seed and will have to win 4 tomorrow to bring home the trophy
GBC11u rolled again today sweeping the 4 games today by a combined score of 29-4 and bringing home the championship trophy.
In the championship game Kameron Pruitt pitched the whole game and came away with the win in the 9-1 victory over the Virginia Wolfpack from Chesapeake.
In the semis, Luke Gesell pitched a gem and GBC won 5-1 over a strong Wilmington Rays team. In the quarters, Cobie Vanced was throwing gas and GBC rolled 7-2 over the Virgina Aces from Virginia Beach. Carter Williams had a HR and closed out the game on the hill. In the first game, GBC won 8-0 over RYSC from Richmond behind the strong pitching from Ceasar Trejo.
