Congratulations Cal, we know you will be a success at Liberty University. Good luck this baseball season at SW, and all your future endeavors. Looking forward to the games between Ragsdale and SW. The Andersons

Gosh, they have alot of talent at Southwest Guilford. I have heard they have alot of great players and alot of them have came thru the Greensboro Batting Center. How will Southwest be this year in Baseball? What Seniors do they have that will make a Big Impact this year for them. I am a avid watcher of High School Baseball but dont know alot of names there, just saw some of their games last year and the year before. Who can I look for at the games that will be Seniors that will make a Impact on the team? Way to go Guys.

Congrats to Cal. We have watched this young man work his butt off. He is most deserving of being asked to play for this fantastic program. Liberty will be getting a baller and a quality young man. Cal and his family are an example of how you work together to make one's dream come true. Keep showing 'em Cal!

Congrats to Cal and his family! Looks like I will get to see plenty of Cal over the next few years as he and my brother (Ryan Dull) will get to battle some more. Over the past 2 years those two kids have had some battles in the many East Forsyth-Grimsley baseball games. Ryan was also one of the mainstay kids that started out with Carmine in Burlington...Carmine's Carolina Acceleration is the real deal and if you are willing ot put in hard work, time, and dedication, the results you will get could be life changing!

We are very happy that Cal is getting this opportunity, he has worked very hard and deserves it. Personally my family would like to thank Al - I met Al when Cal was 6, I loved baseball and wanted Cal to play but he was terrible and I was not very patient. I took him to Golden Gate shopping center, met Al and asked if he could teach this kid how to catch - well he learned how to catch very well - and as Coach Toman at Liberty said on Saturday to me and Cal - "my god can he pick it". Anyway Al has helped so many kids get to the next level, but maybe Cal more than any.

Would also like to thank Carmine Pagano of Carolina Acceleration - Cal started working out when Carmine was in Burlington - mainstays working out back then (and still now) were high school players Mitch Atkins and Jeremy Synan whom both play professionally now - Cal was young but loved working out with these older kids. When Cal was a freshman - he was about 5'9, 130, threw 79 mph, and could not break 8.0 in the 60 - this year he hs 6'3, 184 lbs, threw 89 mph, ran 7.1 in the 60 - other than the growing - putting on weight, getting stronger and faster were all due to Carmine and his strength and conditioning program. If you have a player that loves any sport and wants to play it in college - go see Carmine and it will happen - that simple- if you are willing to work - he will make you as good as you can imagine and maybe better. I remember telling Alan and good friend Kevan Moore when Cal was 9-10, that I thought he would be a good high school player but that would probably be it - Cal worked hard with the help of Al, Carmine, and Rod and good things did happen - thanks again. I also appreciate all the help and publicity Andy Durham has given Cal and other local kids on his site. Now I am excited to follow Cal and continue to work with our GBC Prepstar team to help other kids have a nite like we did last nite when Cal told Coach Toman at Liberty he would like to commit to play baseball for him!!

This is so great for a kid who's best baseball years are ahead of him. He is a terrific fielder and his hitting keeps improving. As big as Cal has gotten over the last few years, I feel he'll hit with power his remaining two years at Southwest and even more at the college level. But the biggest thing Cal brings to the table and Liberty will see this, is his knowledge of the game. That's his upside!! So, CONGRATS to Cal and for all the people that felt that the only reason Cal played shortstop for me in the past was because his dad was my coach, WRONG!!! Either the Coaches at Liberty see the talent in Cal like I did and Coach Holmes at SW will, or Tony just got a coaching job at Liberty U. WAY TO GO CAL! TEAR IT UP AT SOUTHWEST!!!
