*****What to watch for:Ragsdale at Trinity is intriguing as usual with the Bulldogs’ Josh Pittman in a battle with Ragsdale and Jay Canty and the Tigers flying back into action after the Pizza Hut Invitational.
The Eastern Guilford girls have to get a win at home on the UNCG Spartans’ court inside the Fleming Gymnasium. This will be a MUST win for the Wildcats as they try to get the North State Conference schedule started on the right and left foot and the same can be said for the Southern girls hosting McMichael.
Western Guilford gets a shot at Northern with the Hornets Reggie Perkins and Jordan Williams needing big games or WG is in big trouble with the Nighthawks having a large advantage with Jacob Lawson and Christian McCain in the paint.
We want to keep a close watch on Jermaine Martinez over at High Point Christian and see how his team does as we get into the key stages of their season. The Cougars, I believe it is, have Calvary Baptist, Westchester Academy, and High Point Wesleyan coming up in the next two weeks.
