Former Dudley star Johnson and former Smith star Alston lead N.C. A&T

Greensboro natives go a combined 14-for-15 from the floor

Former Dudley Panther star Robert Johnson scored 21 and former Smith Golden Eagle star Tavarus Alston hit for 15 points as the local kids led the N.C. A&T Aggies to a much-needed 84-47 win over Tennessee Wesleyan College in a game played at Corbett Sports Center on the Aggie campus Monday night.

Johnson also pulled down 7 rebounds to go along with his 21 points, while Alston led the Aggies with 6 assists. Ed Jones and Nic Simpson added 10 points each to the Aggie cause and Nicholas Wilson grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Blue and Gold in that department.

The TWC Bulldogs got 8 points a-piece from Wes Suiter and Reggie Jackson(This is not Mr. October), as Tennessee Wesleyan falls to (5-6), while A&T improves to (6-8) with the victory.
