Does Wake Forest belong as the #4 team in team in the Nation

Posted By on January 6, 2009

Should the unbeaten Wake Forest Demon Deacons be ranked as high as they are at #4 in the Nation in both the AP and USA Today men’s basketball polls?????

They are good. They are unbeaten. But #4 in the Nation????? Might this be too much, too soon, for the young men from Winston-Salem?

Do you think Skip Prosser is right in middle of a game of H-O-R-S-E as we write this and he’s taking his going away shot again and at HORS-, wondering the same thing we are.

What would Prosser be saying about this current uprising to number four in the country and would he say it is merited?

Here are those polls and again, is Wake a #4? If the NCAA playoffs started today would Wake get a #1 slot in one of the four regions? There are only four regions and Wake is one of the top four teams in the Nation.

When they beat North Carolina Sunday what kind of respect will they get then, sign Wake Forest fan.

  2. Rob says:

I guess that’s why they wait until the end of the season to pair up the teams. Huh? At this point, I’d say Wake controls its own destiny to getting one of those top spots….as does every other team in the ACC.

when we get to to #1 then say something
