Our schools need more well rounded young men like George Carter in their academic and athletic programs. It’s great to see hard work, dedication, and team work pay off. George is such an asset to the Grimsley baseball program. I know he will bring the same success to UNC. Congrats!

It’s time to let it go. I think everyone is ready to move on and let the Grimsley story be put to bed. They have a great new coach and he needs the support of the returning players. Continuing to bring up the past does nothing but bring attention to yourself. It’s time to move on and give the current players and coach an opportunity to embrace the program. Comments like this do nothing but take away from the good news for the Carter family.

George Carter is the top 2011 player in NC. This is great news for him and his family.
