A few schools played their regular Friday night’s game last night, deciding a pretty Monday was better for everyone, as opposed to a rainy, breezy Friday game.

I was either going to check out Bishop Mcguinness at Mt. Airy or Jordan Matthews at Thomasville. I chose T.ville because I hoped The Jordan Matthews Jets would give The Chair City boys a better game-WRONG! Your final Thomasville 41- Jordan Matthews 6. Mt Airy pounded The Villains of B.Mac 44-0.
Last night was my first visit to Cushawa Stadium, as Andy and I do almost exclusively Greensboro-Guilford County games. You know immediately tradition is part of the deal, with the numerous State Championship years on the scoreboard. It was Homecoming, speaking of tradition, to add to the flavor and the pretty good crowd, for a Monday game.
