Ragsdale’s Nick McBride commits to ECU!

Posted By on October 1, 2008

We know that Ragsdale’s baseball program is in good hands with Coach Donnie Manness at the helm. DeSean Anderson verbally committed to South Carolina a few weeks ago. Right handed pitcher Nick McBride has verbally committed to East Carolina University next fall. From what I hear Nick is stronger, more mature and as expected to be a true stud at Ragsdale next spring.

The entire Ragsdale team should be very, very good having lost NO players to graduation and we have to say, to transferring either over the summer.

Some Minor League Baseball news-The Carolina Mudcats will be the AA Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds next season. The Florida Marlins had been the Major League Affiliate, but chose to move the AA team to Jacksonville, Florida. Owner Steve Bryant announced the agreement with The Reds.

We, of course will have more baseball news as the season rolls around or as news happens.
