High Point Andrews and Ragsdale take Holiday titles

Wachovia Holiday Classic:
Boys Finals-High Point Andrews 65, Thomasville 63….HPA(9-1) Thomasville(5-1)
for Andrews Joe Warren had 22, Charles Goodwin 17 and Tony Washington 10.
Cary Holiday Tournament:
Ragsdale 82, Durham Academy 45 for the Championship….Jay Canty had 26 points for the Ragsdale Tigers and was named MVP of the Tournament. Ladarious Canty had 16 for Ragsdale(10-2).
Elsewhere:Southern Lee defeated Northern Guilford(7-3) 66-56 for Third place in the Wahcovia Classic. SEG boys 56-52 over East Davidson. SEG girls(8-4) 49-41 winners past East Davidson. Falcon girls play in the New Bridge Bank Title game Monday night vs. Central Davidson. HP Andrews girls 52-46 over Amelia County and Trinity Christian out of Fayetteville defeated the Northern Guilford girls(5-6) 43-38 at the Wachovia Classic.
