High School Football LUCKY 13
#1) Grimsley(We said last week if the Whirlies knocked off Dudley they would move up to #1 and Grimsley is 3-0 and on the road at HP Andrews{played at HP’s Simeon Stadium} this week)
#2) Thomasville(They fall to Number Two, but will they lose at all this season, unless they fall to Wallace-Rose Hill, M.L. Carr’s old school)
#3) Eastern Randolph(These Cats are rough and beating HP Central 35-0 says they are going places again this season, now 3-0 and on the go)
#4) Glenn(The Bobcats are for real and they are doing it with their #2 QB and doing it to the tune of 49-20 over East Forsyth last Friday)
#5) Western Alamance(They beat the Williams Bulldogs on Monday night and Hal Capps’ boys are not missing a beat and make the 3-A comp even tougher around here)
#6) Dudley(You still have to believe in the Panthers and they should take care of Smith on Friday night at NC A&T with no problems except the mental deal of playing their biggest rival)
#7) Northeast Guilford(The Rams are back and ready to do some 3-A damage with our other 3-6 teams in this poll and all are 3-A members)
#8) Burlington Cummings(The Cavaliers bounced back with a huge 20-13 win over the Reidsville Rams)
#9) Reidsville(The Rams took the biggest dive in this week’s poll after that loss to Cummings)
#10) Burlington Williams(The Bulldogs have a lot of bite left in their bark and watch out for them with those other 3-A horses)
#11) HP Andrews(The Raiders are ready but are they ready for the Grimsley Whirlies? We’ll find out on Friday night)
#12) Rockingham County(Lin Stadler’s boys from the Rock are fighting mad and want a piece of the 3-A horses)
#13) Southwest Guilford(The Cowboys took care of one of our early season favorites in Southeast this past Monday and now look poised to jump in the FIRE with the other 3-A horses)
