Patriots over the Hill

The Guilford Patriots defeated the Dix Hill team from Queens, New York 12-2 in 5 innings on Saturday afternoon in the first game of the Palomino East Zone Tournament at Pittsburgh, Pa.
Ben Nunn, Lester Rivenbark and Nick Rogers paced the Patriots. Nunn went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs and Rivenbark was also 3 for 3 with a homerun. Rogers pitched a 2 hit complete game.
The Patriots will play Alleghany on Sunday afternoon at 3 pm in Pittsburgh.
