Wrestling Reminder

As we first reported earlier in the week, ACW Wrestling is coming to Greensboro tomorrow night. The event will take place at the Special Events Center (old Bingo Hall) at Bessemer Center on Phillips Avenue. Bell time is 7:30 pm. Tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased at the door.
I was looking over the card last night and it looks like we are in for a great show. The word on the ACW promotion is that their shows usually have a few surprises and are always entertaining.
As Andy talked about in his previous article, the kids from the Boys and Girls Club will be on hand to take in all the action. The work being done by the folks at the Boys and Girls Club should be applauded. What a great organization! The kids should be in for a treat.
The new Special Events Center, much like the Boys and Girls Club, is a place with a very positive mission. Formerly a bingo hall, the building’s management are now committed to bringing positive events to the eastern part of Greensboro. This part of town, especially Phillips Avenue, has gotten a bad reputation over the years and there are many people looking to change that. The folks at the SEC are aiming to do their part by hosting events like tomorrow night’s wrestling. Events that are safe and family friendly.
