Football Revolution set to begin in Greensboro

As GreensboroSports.com reported yesterday, Greensboro has been awarded an expansion franchise in the National Indoor Football League. A press conference was held at the Coliseum on Thursday morning where many of the details regarding the team were disclosed for the first time.

The team’s nickname, the Revolution, was announced and the team’s logo was unveiled.
The team’s ownership group was also introduced. Anthony Pewonski will own the team. Pewonski is also president of Sunshine State Sports Manaement.

The Revolution will begin play on March 25. Ticket prices will range from $5 to $35 for single game tickets and season tickets will run from $35 to $210.
